The larger a company is, the more locations it has and the more different forms of work it offers its employees, the greater the challenge in terms of internal communication and information. Baumit solves this challenge with the employee app "My Baumit".
Individual from features to design
"My Baumit" is based on the white-label solution hAPPydo HR developed by us and enables companies to reach all employees* regardless of location, computer access, email inbox, language or hierarchy in the company. The app "My Baumit" was designed in Baumit's corporate design. The modules and features of the app can be individually selected or customized. In the first step, Baumit opted for the modules News (news about Baumit), Jobs (in the company), Events including event registration, push notifications and the survey module. Contributions can be played out for individual locations as well as for the entire company. In the case of particularly important information, Baumit can send an attention-grabbing push message to the app's users. With the survey module, the company can query opinion or mood.
Precisely targeted thanks to workshop
Baumit did not leave the choice of modules and features to chance. The structures and content of the app were developed in a joint workshop. Other companies in which hAPPydo-based employee apps are already successfully in use served as best practice examples. With the introduction of "My Baumit," the employees and those responsible for its content were well prepared. How do I use the app? What content belongs where? What content is generally interesting for the app? - All these questions were clarified in the joint workshop before the app launch. Defined structures, content and messages make working with the app particularly easy.
In the stores in record time
Although "My Baumit" has many customizations, the employee app was implemented in record time and is now freely available in the stores for both Android and iOS. This makes it an additional channel for Baumit to use for employer branding and to spread the word about open positions. Baumit is not only a global player for building materials: With the employee app "My Baumit", the company is also one of the digital pioneers in communication.
The app was developed for iOS and Android and is available in the App Store and in the Google Play Store.
